How to Make Voronoi Patterns with Autodesk® Meshmixer
Click here for our Instructable: "Make Voronoi Patterns with Autodesk Meshmixer" Voronoi patters make interesting, organic looking models. You can add Voronoi patterns to an .STL or model that will import into Autodesk Meshmixer by reducing polygons and applying the Dual Edges pattern. Read more about Voronoi diagrams on Wikipedia. Voronoi patterns consist of lines connecting points that are the centers of circles which intersect with

Big layer heights with E3D's Volcano nozzles!
We just got to test out the new Volcano nozzle from E3D and it's awesome!
The full pack includes: .6mm, .8mm, 1mm and 1.2mm nozzles.
Get it from E3D here.
The first attempt revealed that in order to get a full melt, much higher temps were needed (265c @40mm/sec) just for PLA.
At normal PLA temperatures (~215c) the bottom layers contracted due to the filament not being fully melted and acting more elastic. Next, we tried out the .8mm nozzle with .6mm layer height. Some
